Ok Reddit, so I’m an aspiring baker. I’ve wanted to be a baker since I was little. I’m also, like pretty much everyone on here, a huge nerd.

So I had an idea about going to comic cons to sell cake pops, cookies, etc. It seems like a good idea to me, and I’ve seen people at cons like Megacon selling Fudge, and I remember one booth at spooky empire selling cookies.

So I thought to myself, “I can do that.”

I’ve asked this question in r/comiccons before but I figured I could get more advice from more people if I asked here.

So what do I have to do?

    Contact your local county seat and get information on a vending license. Get a bunch of money together, learn to bake in a cost effective way. Contact convention, pay a fee to display your booth. Sit on your pile of gold pressed latenium(sp) and wait for your next show. Or, watch the money evaporate faster than water from a droids ass under the double sun’s of tatooeen and say fuck it that was a lot of work.
