How to solve the problem of ‘fear culture’ that young entrepreneurs in Europe got? (vs. USA)
Fearing of trusting others in sharing their business idea.
Fearing of investing with other co-founders/ Partners.
Fearing of losing the 9 to 5 job.
Fearing of failure. (in front of a ‘status Game’ society)
Fearing of trying new product/ solutions within a traditional society.
Fearing of hiring/ investing over qualified immigrant.
Etc.
Silicon Valley is not a land of genius, but an arena made of risk takers and game changers. Which Europe miss.
These fears are fuelled by the perception that starting a startup is big and risky step - it doesn’t need to be like that. Entrepreneurs can gain confidence, advance, and nurture while still having the comfort of their 9 - 5 job. A lot of validation can be done before pulling the trigger and having enough evidence to go all-in.
While European are indeed risk-averse - this can be turned into an advantage than seeing it as a downside.
