I want to support local business but in the town I live in (southern maine) so many of them have the weirdest hours. Like open Monday to Thursday from 10 to 5. How is anyone supposed to go there? I feel like this is a newer thing?

There’s an Italian restaurant in my city that is incredibly popular. But, everyone knows the owner is a huge jerk to his employees so he has trouble keeping staffed and therefore has trouble keeping the doors open. The restaurant hours are sporadic at best.
