I run a well respected enterprise ux firm. We are about two dozen people and have a turnover at our peak of 2.5m. This year is brutal and we are down to 900k. The ux industry has changed and I need to adapt. I see the next wave clearly and have about three quarters of what I need to get there. I want to raise $500-1M for a couple of years of runway to charge at this new opportunity. We have many fortune 100 to Fortune 500 clients, been around seven years and have strong stable team and leadership. Besides friends and family, where can I raise to go after this emerging market? We have some debt that I’m chipping away at but it’s slow going.

You have clients working in corporate. They have money and will invest if you can put up a solid business proposal.

500k to 1m is not big for people working in corporate especially management. I think if you find the right guy, 1 person can fund you entire project.

How sound is your corporate credit profile? It is something that is wildly underutilized by business owners because they’re never known that they can utilize non-recourse lending options if they have corporate credit based on their EIN
