I don’t have a corporation set up. Is it possible to bypass this to get onto test flight? Do I need to set something up? How can I get something cheap so I won’t get caught up in any debt. The guy who built the app has an account but let me know it has been expired. How can I bypass this part, if I can?

An LLC is maybe $100 in some places.
You just pay the $100+tax for the dev account (developer.apple.com). Can be sole person. At least for US based people.
Why in the world are you convinced you need a company for an app?
