So for context, I’m 16 I have a regular job at the moment and I’m looking to start social media marketing through copywriting and video editing for small content creators and Ecommerce stores. All I have to start is an iPhone and an empty Instagram page for my portfolio of videos, going to start off with short form content for the video editing part, but also want to learn copywriting as well.

Thing is that idk how to start. I find video editing quite easy but idk how to build a portfolio for my videos and copy in the sense that idk what style of videos to focus on for my portfolio. I don’t know how to start copywriting though. I’m also willing to learn about video editing and copywriting.

Sorry if this is all over the place. I’m trying to explain as best as I can.

    Pick a niche of content creators and eCommerce stores you love - or know a bit about … talk to them a bit and tell them your ideas and see which video portfolio idea pops. Then make something for them and use that as your portfolio. Convert them to a paying customer and then win more from the work you did. You are super close to smashing it.
