I was tasked on researching bill counters for my parents business which is a restaurant in that most transaction are cash based.

I was a given a budget of around $1000, but I am unsure if it is worth spending all the budget or the ones that cost $500 are good enough for my needs?

My needs:

  • Budget of $500-1000
  • Count USD
  • Do not cause the bills to fly away
  • Low mantaince

We did buy one of those cheap bill counter before, but the counter sent all the bills flying away causing more problem than it was worth it.

I did check some of my local banks to see which counter they were using, but most of them were in the +$2000 price range.
