Is this a homework question?
If this is a serious question, it is because most small businesses know nothing about IT.
Google forcing authentication is usually the first time most hear anything about it and have no idea what’s happening and need to have a contractor figure out why none of the companies email is being delivered to gmail addresses.
Then they still have no clue what it is but either they paid someone to fix the problem or someone in the office managed to find a fix that at least temporarily works from googling the problem and wasting half a day.
Exactly this.
The not for profit I’m involved with had this exact issue with Google, no explanation from Microsoft (where we were hosting email) or Google. They bounced us between each others help desk . No money for a contractor
We have up and moved email to Gmail and all our problems went away.
