Hi,

I hope you are all well.

I am looking at becoming a self employed hair dresser, due to reasons beyond my control, I am no longer able to continue in my position as a employed hairdresser.

I am trying to get any kind of loan or start up loan to fund my self for products for the first month to get myself going. I have found myself a chair to rent and I already have most equipment.

I am based in the UK and unsure where to look. I have looked on some websites and they all ask about how much money my ‘business’ has made but to date its £0 as I have only just started to be self employed.

Thanks so so so much.

Are these products to sell to customers, or products to use?

If it’s the former, try seller financing. Some companies will provide product on Net 30 terms. If it’s the latter, borrow products from the hairdresser at the chair next to you, and pay them back a day or two later.
