Hey all,
I’ve been teaching programming in one form or another for the past five years, and I realized I would love to develop a curriculum to teach at my home. We’ve got a spacious bonus room behind my house, and it would make for a great small classroom setting for 6-8 people.
My state offers free counseling resources for people looking to start small businesses, so I requested a consultation for next week. Hopefully this is feasible. In the meantime, I’m curious: has anyone gone through with something similar? Or have you attended classes held in someone’s home?
Just thinking… now that we are on the otherside of the grate Covid pandamic so menny things have changed, Two of the changes are work from home and school from home. Personally I value a face to face learning experence (Mechenical Enginner) but times have changed. Conseder teaching a class live to several people using somesort of live streaming . Set up your bonus room as a live stream stuido so you can putout a highqulity …uhh lesson . I think you could also offer some inperson classed wile livestreaming.
Good luck
