Hey all,

I’ve been teaching programming in one form or another for the past five years, and I realized I would love to develop a curriculum to teach at my home. We’ve got a spacious bonus room behind my house, and it would make for a great small classroom setting for 6-8 people.

My state offers free counseling resources for people looking to start small businesses, so I requested a consultation for next week. Hopefully this is feasible. In the meantime, I’m curious: has anyone gone through with something similar? Or have you attended classes held in someone’s home?

I used to give one-on-one instruction in my home. But I stopped that years ago.

Before the pandemic, I taught WordPress classes at the local SBDC and at local libraries in my area. I didn’t make any money directly from the teaching, but I got a good number of clients and referrals from it.
