My business is myself, im 35(is that still young?!) but Ive basically spread myself too thin creatively. And desperately need some advice!

Ive got a good amount of savings from my bread and butter, Art Direction. But I want to start strategically contributing to growth in a few of these endeavours that lead me to my long term goal. But need to gut the “INSEASON company” like a fish so to speak and reassess. Please be brutal, I can take it.

Ive outlined a sort of prospectus in my ambitions to be involved in AR content (very bullish) in the near future and have been taking some steps (gaining EXP in relevant contemporary media) to be positioned to be a transitional player.

I’ve compiled a list of my endeavours with perceived enjoyment/ success. I sort of need a brutal eye to look through these things and tell me just stop it. Cut bait and focus on the trunk of my T (love the T shaped skillset idea).

Please someone help, i want to do well i swear I’m just burdened by all of these things now. Some of them I genuinely believe i have talent in and could leverage to higher profits. It’s hard to let go…

From looking at your list of endeavors, it seems like you have spread yourself too thin creatively. It’s important to reassess and focus on the ones that have the most potential for growth. Here are some suggestions to help you streamline your efforts:

    1. Consider your long-term goal of being involved in AR content. Focus on gaining experience and skills in relevant contemporary media that will help you position yourself as a transitional player in this field.

    2. Take a hard look at each endeavor on your list and evaluate its perceived enjoyment and success. Set aside the ones that don’t align with your long-term goal or have low potential for profitability.

    3. Narrow down your focus to the ones where you genuinely believe you have talent and can leverage for higher profits. These are the ones worth investing your time and energy into.

    4. Don’t be afraid to let go of the endeavors that don’t make the cut. It can be tough, but by eliminating distractions, you’ll free up more resources to devote to your selected ventures.

Remember, it’s important to prioritize and focus on a smaller number of endeavors to maximize your chances of success. Good luck!
