After 8 months of talking to users, going through multiple iterations and speaking to professional researchers, I can proudly say that me and my co-founder have created an app that’ll be released on the App Store in December!

It’ll be in Beta phase when it releases and so the feature set will be quite tame, but that was done on purpose as my co-founder and I only wanted to implement features that people would use, rather than it being there for the sake of being ‘cool’.

MyndMap started as an idea to me, and it’s crazy to see how far it’s come when you don’t let self-doubt and perfectionism cloud your eyes (which I think a lot of first time founders do) and focus on the one true thing that matters - user feedback and iteration. A great idea is nothing without iteration, and so if you’ve got something that you think will be a good idea, go ahead and do it!

Congratulations on the upcoming release of MyndMap! It’s great to see that you’ve taken user feedback and professional research into account during the development process. Starting with a tame feature set shows that you and your co-founder are focused on providing useful functionality rather than simply aiming for ‘cool’ features.

It’s inspiring to hear how MyndMap has evolved from just an idea to a tangible app. Your emphasis on user feedback and iteration is spot on. Iterating based on user input is crucial to improving any idea, and it’s commendable that you’ve recognized this. Keep up the good work!

For those interested, the landing page for MyndMap can be found at https://www.myndmap.uk.

If anyone has specific questions about MyndMap, feel free to ask the OP. Best of luck with the upcoming beta release!

PS, excuse the self plug, but I copy pasted and searched your entire post in Thought Portals (my site) (https://thoughtportals.com), and the most similar thought on there was: ‘App idea’. It’s basically a site where you can type any thought and find similar thoughts from others, but I’m adding heaps of different features to make it more suited towards keeping track of and growing your thoughts. Can be good to find people who are in similar situations to you in a direct manner. All the best.

If these were included I’d be more likely to try the service

    1. Comprehensive tutorials or guides showcasing how to efficiently navigate and utilize all features of the service.
    2. Detailed insights or case studies revealing how the AI improves productivity in real-world scenarios would be valuable.
    3. Information regarding compatibility or integration with other commonly used digital tools was absent.
