Hey everyone,

Me and my friend (both located in the UK) came up with an idea to create a guitar sound amp. We have been getting inspiration from big brands like Fender and Marshall. So far, we have already created a working prototype that has a unique sound that sets it apart from big brand sound amps.

I was allocated a role of compliance and certification manager. I have never done such thing before and therefore need some guidance.

How the overall process of picking which certifications are needed should look like? Where should I look for various compliances the product shoud comply with? Do I need a legal consultant/lawyer to speed the things up? Or I need to keep on google’ing?

Any ideas are welcomed.

Thanks and have a great day everyone.

Ps Pardon me if this is considered a legal topic. I am new to this and learning it the hard way.

Google is your best friend . 2nd, look on the amps you have, they should have compliance logos on them to help focus your Google search
