Recently launched my perfume website www.scentedessence.co.uk & I have also been quite active on Tiktok and built up about 230 followers in a month without any paid advertisements for that so I’m feeling good.

I have a launch sale on at the moment (£13.99) but I was surprised to see one customer pickup a 7 perfume order but is quite exciting.

    Congrats! Are you new to e-commerce? I find the consumer behaviour to be really interesting. I work for a company with stores and online - I run online. Online average orders are way higher, the consumer is more dedicated, and you’ll be blown away at how some people prioritize their spending.

        Build out all your funnel, email automation, email collection, retargeting tools like pixels, ect now so that the systems are in place for when you start to scale. Email is your best friend. If you’re selling well known brands performance max Google ads will work really well (the key is that your products already have search volume)

          Thanks so much - I’m targeting a specific niche , so whilst these perfumes are suitable for everyone because we have a lot of different notes (rose vanilla amber musk bergamot patchouli , woody, leathery , oud etc) , the name of the perfumes means the people that are interested in Dubai/ OUD style perfumes will click on the page first and then discover that intact it’s just the same as the well known brand as perfumes are just a combination of different notes.

          That’s the dilemma really , but I’ll see what we can generate in terms of Google clicks. I’m trying to garner good word of mouth at the moment!
