Hello! I’m looking to sell some bracelets online to save up for my collage I have tried multiple websites like etsy ebay even using paypall but they ALL ask for my full id information + adress, as a 16 year old I don’t feel safe that some random website can check my id so I’m looking for another option that doesn’t ask for my id hopefully?

I don’t want anyone explaining why it’s safe to give a picture of your id it just makes me uncomfortable that anyone has my identity card in their database.

If you have any tips for starting a small business that would also help thank you <3

(I live in the EU if that has to do anything with the id thing)

They do this because of the amount of online fraud that happens every day, even WITH these checks in place.

They are all also now required to issue you a 1099 every year you sell more than $600 on their platforms.

Part of doing business, you’re going to have to play the game the way the game is played.

There’s no way to avoid it.
