Morning! My HR consulting & outsourcing firm (US based) has grown to the point that it’s time for us to bring on a dedicated sales/business development rep. However, even with a great job description and competitive compensation+ commission structure, the candidates applying SUCK.
How are you all combatting this?
Admittedly, I’m being very picky about this hire.
Kind of need more info.
“Good” b2b sales guys make a lot of money. They’re wiley, know their value, and will negotiate strong commissions on top of a decent salary. They will want some kind of expense account and probably a credit card. If that’s what you’re looking for, I would start with a recruiter.
If you just need someone to make phone calls (not super effective) just go into your local T-Mobile store and hire one of the sales people.
