I own a small business (1man shop) and am interviewing companies to finish my website and start a digital media campaign. After looking at their reviews they seem fantastic, but I also know things can be flubbed on google pretty easily. Anyone have feedback from using them for your business?
Open to any Digital Marketing recommendations as well!
If it matters- I own a Mobile vehicle repair company and have all 5 star reviews on Yelp and Google.
Here is my experience… Most of these firms that do “SEO, Digital Marketing” are not great at website manuf or design. They can tell you what keywords to use, but I had FAR better luck finding an outright website design firm to do my website. And another firm handled SEO type stuff. And a third firm handling social media.
You would think these things could be handled by one firm, but my experience is, it’s a website dev group who decided to “get into” SEO and aren’t that great at it. Or they “get into” social media management and aren’t that great at it.
As a 1man shop, these huge firms might not be an ideal fit for you. Most of their clients are likely much larger, and you won’t get great service from them. If I were in your shoes, I would reach out to competitors/others in the industry where you like the look of their website. Ask if they can refer you.
Have you worked with them before? Seems like your basing your opinion on other agencies rather than what they do, because from a technical standpoint they’re doing everything correct and then some.
