Sometimes as small business owners we enjoy doing the marketing, the product creation, the hiring, the sales … anything but the accounting, so it often gets forgotten, even though (arguably) it would be the most important function.

Bookkeeping should be treated like any other expense and hire. It’s pretty easy to outsource to freelance bookkeepers or even your accountants should offer this service (at a premium).
