I own a hair salon. Typically, November is my busiest season. It has been SO quiet. A lot of my colleagues are also saying the same thing and have had to close up shop because of it - or get a second job.

People keep saying it will get better and the economy will bounce back but I don’t know. I am so close from just throwing in the towel, closing up shop and getting a corporate gig.

    I run an internet retail business. This has been my worst year since I started 7 years ago. Last year I was receiving 300 orders/month with an average of $32/sale. This year I’ve been lucky to get 50 orders/month and their average has been down to $16/sale. I’ve gone through my entire savings and barely made rent for November. I don’t know how much longer I can keep my doors open.
