My current business mainly sells disposable restaurant supplies and we have been in this industry for 6 years already. We already switched to biodegradable/eco-friendly disposable supplies and it has been doing okay.

We also started expanding a bit and we now sell biodegradable disposable pet supplies.

We want to sell more kinds of disposable/consumable products but all the other ones we can find can only be sold at low margins (less than 20%).

What are other example of high margin disposables/consumables? Or is it normal for these products to have low margins because they have to be sold at high volumes?

What about selling metal/durable supplies with your own brand a cleaner that keeps them “under warranty”? Then your cleaner is the consumable and your product lasts.
