Hey guys, I created a men’s fashion and style course and want to consider putting it on a website like Udemy. For those who use these online course sites, how much marketing do you have to do? Is there a platform you like better? For a website like Teachable, do you do your own marketing and link to it? I’m new to this world, so would love feedback.

Teachable, thinkific and the like if you just want an easy quick way.

I prefer a dedicated site with a locked members only area. This way, you can have full control and other tabs and upsell. Example, eventually you can sell your own ties or have affiliate links to clothing shops, skin care items, or colognes.

Scent of the month! This month I tested 15 colognes. Gentlemen, the Armani X is the top choice and is a must have. They click on the link, some people buy, and you earn your commission.

Thanks for the feedback. I can imagine doing a subscription to my outfits of the month or something. I can’t decide if I want to make this a full blown business or just a course.

Thanks! I have everything on a website right now and a waitlist. I guess I’m trying to find another avenue to get sales, so something like udemy looked interesting. I’ve seen people do both.

the issue with setting up multiple payment gateways and distribution channels of the product is that it might mess your sales funnel
