Read up on Stoicism. I suggest:

    - The ancient art of stoic joy (irvine)

    - Dying every day, Seneca in the court of nero

    - Man’s search for meaning (Frankl)

    - Thoughts of a philosophical fighter pilot (Stockdale)

-----> Basically, you separate what you can control from what you can’t and focus on moving forward. Maybe read Jordan Peterson’s 12 rules for life.

You’re young. My divorce started at 42, my old kids never wanted to speak to me again, my settlement was for essentially all my money (I would keep the house and $80K of retirement), my projected income after taxes was less than my total support. Yet here I am, at 47, rebuilt and moving forward.

You’re 7 years younger than I was back then.

Get out there and rock it.
