I’m about to start consulting to a NY company as a software engineer. I’m not sure how much should I charge them for my service. Any advice?

    How did you land a client? I have a software job but the boss always micromanages me and its very unreliable. I am almost putting in 10-12 hours a day 5 days a week. I also want to start something similar but not sure where to look for clients?

      Hey, sounds like a tough situation. In my case someone I previously worked with told me about this and asked if I’m interested, he also knows the client so it’s pure luck I guess. Can you try communicating with your boss and tell him/her that you feel uncomfortable because of how you are treated? Also don’t stop searching for a new job meanwhile…
