I just heard that the SBA is no longer allowing deals to “bundle” the RE and business financing thereby eliminating the possibility of getting the 25 year amortization term for the total project … even if RE comprises more than 50% of the project/purchase. Has anyone else heard this?

You are correct with SOP 50 10 7, but luckily 7.1 is effective Nov 15th and once again you can go 25 yrs when 51% or greater of the project cost is real estate.
