Due diligence can be complicated involving the professional services of attorneys, CPAs, lenders, and brokers. For your project, you might also have a commercial realtor on your team.
Typically the person wanting the due diligence is the one who picks the various team members and manages the project.
If you don’t have the time to lead the project you might ask your various professionals for recommendations or connect with other non-competing medical clinics for tips and referrals.
A lawyer might not do all of those things, but you’re definitely going to need a lawyer. You should consult with a few and go with one that has recs.
You’re describing a general manager with a medical compliance background.
