I have a small business, It’s a comedy club (we also rent it out as an eventspace) and we have podcast studios in the back.
I am trying to get any tips on selling advertising space inside the business… where to go or who to ask? I have been searching everywhere and just keep hitting a dead end. Finances are in dire-straits. We do not have a liquor license so I’m looking for alternative beverage options (vending machine?), or brand sponsorships… basically anything I can do to gain a little extra revenue to keep the business going.
It’s only about 1.5 years old. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated
See if you can rent out space in your venue for co-working with phone answering, package receiving etc. Advertising is hard to sell and maintain, your clients if you get any will be constantly complaining that they get no results and it will be another headache for you.
