I just finished part one of the lean startup and the book talks a lot about experimentation to get your product right but I’m in a pre MVP, product validation stage for an app. It includes stories of established companies or services that can be done in person. Is this book relevant to me yet? Or am I just not thinking?

Any advice would be helpful

I used the landing page and waitlist invite. Ads/intros can be pretty similar as you would do with the actual product. Change call to action from “Sign up” to “Join the waitlist”.

Question for me was (and still there) is where to get as much traffic so the stats become credible enough for making inference.

This is pretty much the exact path I’m going to take but that seems more validation than experimentation no?

As far as I know, experiment is a part of validation process: hypothesis -> experiment -> data -> insight --> repeat. When you find your market fit, this process is the same but aimed at reaching the best results possible (in terms of target metrics).
