What i do: I’m a baker/crafter. I basically take ANY requests of random things people need but i mostly make fancy cakes n such. all custom

platforms i use: i have my own website but i usually make posts for my facebook page (what i mainly use) and instagram.

my problem: facebook is absolutely trash and getting on my nerves but so far its my go to way of getting to the locals.

i’d like to sell online: i can make custom things and ship them as long as they’re non perishable. that way i can reach more than just the locals but im not sure what platform to use for that either. i know tiktok is somewhat good for that. i have about 6k followers on my account i use currently but its not for my business. i was thinking i could turn it into an account for my business.

thoughts ?

You’re right on track with platforms like TikTok and Instagram. With 6K followers, TikTok’s algorithm can seriously amplify your content. Short, snappy videos showing off your baking skills? Absolute gold. And don’t sleep on Instagram, especially with Stories and Reels. Ever tried Boost App Social for this? It’s kinda lowkey but does wonders for crafting engaging posts and stories – could be a game changer for you.

Now, Etsy is your friend for handmade stuff. And Pinterest? Perfect for visuals and driving traffic to your site or Etsy. Remember, it’s all about catching eyes and hearts with your unique creations.
