Hi,

I made my own website for my car detailing business. I somewhat understand how SEO works but I’m definitely no expert. I do the odd Facebook ad but I have found that 75% of my website visits are from Google maps.

My question is, should I invest in having an expert take a look at and potentially alter my website to improve the SEO to help my google maps ranking? How much could I benefit?

Also, would advertising with Google be more beneficial if most my customers are finding me on maps? I’m quite far down the list when I search car detailing in my area on Google maps.

I wasn’t sure if I could link my website to help with advice so to be safe, I didn’t.

Advice from an SEO and ads guy here. Maximize your GMB potential first, make sure you got descriptions, services, and fill out every possible question they have. Make sure to use the business updates feature and post regularly pictures and updates.

Get as much reviews as possible.

Then you can run local SEO campaign, I typically charge $250 /m but you can do it yourself if you have time using Yext.

Next have a look at running a Google PMax campaign and focus delivery on maps.

Then you can start focusing on GAds for search, fb ads and remarketing with a short 2-5 days retention.

Then you can look into SEO for your website.

Also look at other niches like truck washing and engine washing.
