Hi,

I made my own website for my car detailing business. I somewhat understand how SEO works but I’m definitely no expert. I do the odd Facebook ad but I have found that 75% of my website visits are from Google maps.

My question is, should I invest in having an expert take a look at and potentially alter my website to improve the SEO to help my google maps ranking? How much could I benefit?

Also, would advertising with Google be more beneficial if most my customers are finding me on maps? I’m quite far down the list when I search car detailing in my area on Google maps.

I wasn’t sure if I could link my website to help with advice so to be safe, I didn’t.

I would suggest targeting people via Facebook and google ads for instant results. SEO will take you months to rank if done properly.

Create good ad campaigns and try to get recurring clients.

Cheers mate, I’ve been doing FB ads but Squarespace is telling me that 75% of my traffic is from GMaps, would I benefit from GAds more than FB?

The traffic that you’re getting is organically via Google Business Listing I suppose but that’s not enough.

Yes you would benefit from Google Ads more than Facebook but it doesn’t work that way. You have to take benefit of the whole system.

First time visitor may not convert into a sale. With Facebook/ Instagram ads, you can retarget that same visitor who visited your website via google ads/ or Via Google Maps.

Also since this is more like a recurring business, you can target your previous customers too again and again to possibly push them into a recurring client if they’ve got work done by you in the past.

        I hope it makes sense.

DM me if you have any other query.
