Considering buying a roofing business. Currently making 1-2MM in revenue annually, healthy bottom line (20%+). Current owner is fairly young but burnt out by industry and not having the interest and experience to grow beyond current. Solid projects in place for next 1.5-2 years. Very little marketing has been done. Manager is in place.
I have owned and managed businesses, but never in this industry.
Anyone with experience doing something similar, or general thoughts?
Was in corporate M&A - now I own a painting and flooring company (75 employees)… Question, how much is he charging for that roofing company?
