A month back I posted about my newsletter in various subreddits (got banned for self promotion from some), and got mixed responses for my claims.

I claimed to provide verified business ideas, real success stories and quality articles every week for free.

Some people called me out as a scammer.

Others were gentler and subscribed just by trusting my words (grateful to those first subscribers).

Well, 5 editions later, here we are. I work hard over the entire week, curate the best content, add a personal lesson and I do it for free.

I don’t use any paid ads and rely only on organic growth.

If you want to check out my newsletter, you can click here.

The only thing I want to say to my fellow beginners is don’t listen to haters and just get started.

One of the very good newsletter I have read in the recent times.

Are the revenue numbers mentioned by you accurate/legit?

Also a small advice: If you wish to retain your subscribers and grow, ensure to focus on launching biweekly editions not just one in a week.

Yes, the numbers are legit AFAIK. I usually refer to blog posts by the makers of a product or interviews of the makers to get the values.

Biweekly is something I have considered, but it feels like too much work for now. Maybe I’ll add/remove some sections to have two different styles of the newsletter, twice every week. But that’s in the future.

Down the line consider biweekly publications with all the 4 sections as in some publication ideas section is missing

The reason is simple. There are 1000s of newsletters that offer good content. If u release only one publication a week, the remaining 6 days is enough to forget about yours and discover something new

I mean, it’s free and you’re appealing to idiots.

It’s like having water in the desert.

What are you doing to actually make money and not just have this be a time and energy consuming hobby?

Thanks anyway. Just celebrating a small start. I probably need to add a disclaimer: “I know 60 is a small number but it still makes me happy.”
