I’m not sure if this is the ideal place to seek advice, but I value your insights. I’m in the process of creating two parts, and the two can assembly into one sale. Additionally, I’ve already located a packaging manufacturer for the outer packaging. Initially, I considered the idea of shipping the products and packages to Mexico for assembly and packaging.

However, due to time constraints, I now need to ship these products directly from China to my shipping fulfillment center. The manufacturer I’m working with is in China. they can handle the assembly and packaging process.

My question is, what precautions should I take in this process, considering that I won’t be able to physically inspect the products? Your experiences and suggestions would be immensely valuable!

    What type of product…?

I doubt you should ship them to customers without ever handling them in person. Why not make a short trip? Fedex is also quite fast.

Opting for assembly in China might be more convenient, but make sure to have a solid (M)NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) in place. You wouldn’t want your product flooding the Chinese market before you get your hands on it.

It’s a common practice to request manufacturers to handle assembly and packaging, and they are usually willing to assist, provided you cover the labor costs. To minimize risks, you can also hire someone to conduct random inspections of the goods.
