Hello everybody, wondering how you guys deal with fake reviews on google my business?
I am beyond 100% sure that a competitor is doing this. It’s happening repeatedly and we don’t have any of their details match our genuine customers.
My question is- do you report the reviews or report as well as reply both? Is it possible that google doesn’t remove the review because you have replied? I am planning to call them out on their fake shit.
Reporting does nothing. Reply with a simple statement like: this person was never a customer. Or if it is a fake account (has no other reviews) I say: this is a fake review from a fake account. Unfortunately, it still hurts the stars, but we are reaching saturation on the rating systems. Every business has a 4.5-5 star rating now.
