Dear David
We have a unique approach to cancer drug discovery that will reduce timelines for cancer treatment developments by enhancing access to critical research and data. Current delays in information impact the timing of drugs which will mean life or death for millions of people each year. Most innovative cancer drugs are facing delays in reaching patients, because regulators are not keeping up with the pace of progress along with the shortage of human resources leading to delays from patent to patients, for current cancer patients a delay of just a few weeks could mean life or death.
We are solving this issue by building a platform where researchers and scientists freely exchange ideas, data, and information related to cancer. This unrestricted access removes barriers and allows specialists from diverse fields to build on each other’s work,
I would like an opportunity to have a call with you and show you how this works
How about this Thursday at 3:30 pm?

Hello Mr/Mrs X
The current landscape of cancer treatment development is marked by significant delays, jeopardizing the lives of millions of patients. The challenges, ranging from regulatory hurdles to resource shortages, have prompted us to devise a unique approach that accelerates the exchange of crucial research and data among scientists and researchers.
By creating an environment that fosters open collaboration, which no one is doing, we break down barriers and expedite the journey from patent to patients allowing scientists to build on each other’s work. This is especially crucial for cancer patients, where even a brief delay could be a matter of life or death.
Our approach has the potential to make a substantial impact on the timely delivery of groundbreaking cancer treatments.
The purpose of this message is to ask for an opportunity to meet you and show how this works How about this Thursday at 3:30 pm?

You need to include what exactly you are asking.
This could be an email to convince the recipient to join your platform. VC will be like, I’m not a scientist, this is spam. Ignore.
Just say you are raising $X and want him/her to invest. $X might be too small, or too large, for him/her to be interested. Don’t waste their time.
What do you think of this?
Hi David,
We have a novel approach to cancer treatment discovery that reduces cancer drug development timeline by almost 90% speed-to-market. Most innovative cancer drugs are facing delays in reaching patients Due to regulators not being able to keep up with the pace of progress, the most exciting new therapies have not been successfully fast-tracked in an industry where a weeks delay can mean life or death for hundreds of thousands of people.
Our approach is facilitating global collaboration between pharmaceutical companies in countries with strict and lengthy treatment adoption processes with those with lower and friendlier restrictions, reducing the process from the typical 10 -13 years to 1-2 years in the time of adoption. This has been validated by the WHO approach to the COVID response. Over 21 million people benefit from this process yearly in a global market of about $180 billion.
We are seeking a $50,000 investment and I would love for the opportunity to walk you through our platform. I would like to opportunity to show you how this works over a Zoom call, Please let me know what day and time this week works best for you.
Best,
Emmanuel.

If you are looking for $50k, you probably should be targeting angel investors, not VC firms. $50k is probably too small for most VC firms. Check lists like this one https://signal.nfx.com/investor-lists/top-biotech-seed-investors
