I’ve been running my business for a few years now, let’s call it X&Y Business LLC
All my logos, branding and such are XY Business LLC. Ended up dropping the & for simplicity sake on the logo and for social media accounts.
Does this small change justify needing a DBA? I’ve had clients sign checks to XY instead of X&Y and even the bank hasn’t given me an issue with it.

Yes. XY is your DBA I work for a multi-state business and it matters. Espacially when health insurance is involved.
