I’m preparing a smoke test to gauge interest in a new enterprise software product for engineering infrastructure. What are the quickest and most cost-effective methods to create a professional website with sign-up forms that appears credible?
I would love any advice on making this a successful and efficient demand test.
Credibility build over time . It has no direct relation with how you make website . Yes you can make it look like professional but cannot build credibility on day one .
Try adding team experience or something like that which will instill confidence on your team .
I think webflow with a template is really simple, got us to our first 1k signups
Carrd.co using a late-2019 Basecamp minimalist approach.
If you can’t sell an idea with three colors (e.g. white, black, and yellow) and nothing but text, the idea isn’t good enough yet.
Tell them why they should buy/subscribe and give them the opportunity to. All the other stuff comes later.
Github pages with a custom domain is hard to beat for simplicity
I use yep.so for simple landing page / waiting page sites and I think it could work for you.
A proper smoke test site should look pretty built out I would say, and I’ve used https://lexingtonthemes.com/ for that recently
