Me and two others are spending a year making a health tech app as our masters thesis in health informatics. This means we are developing with a solid fundament on both research and iterative user testing.

We are a very balanced team and I could picture us starting a company together. We have talked about taking it further after finishing, We would have a pretty good MVP and a ton of research to back it up. The catch is that all 3 of us are reluctant on leaving or jobs and taking the leap.

Anyone have experience with founding a company and working on it on the side? Could we build this “slow” and organic?

That’s a good point to think about the Discovery Phase for that business. It can help you and your Co-Founders see the risks and the further steps that you can take to get an expected result from that project. It will also save you money, time, and nerves and could be a good point for your colleagues to start working on that solution.

If you need some more info about that, you can contact me here or on Telegram (Yurii_BDM) and I would be glad to share more info about that.

Yes, you can. Start by marketing your MVP, reach out to your customers, demonstrate the use cases. Build a simple landing page for visibility and add your research to it.
